These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Positive Change Behavior Coach website and application (the “Service”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Educational Purpose
Positive Change Behavior Coach provides general educational information and decision-support tools for educators and other adults.
Positive Change Behavior Coach is not a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), a functional analysis, or a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).
It does not provide:
- medical advice
- psychological or mental-health treatment
- diagnosis
- individualized clinical assessment
- legal advice
- emergency or crisis intervention
- individualized professional behavior assessment
The Service does not replace qualified professional judgment, individualized assessment, school or organizational procedures, crisis-response procedures, medical care, or student-specific safety plans.
Safety
Safety comes first.
If there is immediate risk of harm, users must follow their school’s or organization’s established emergency, crisis, and safety procedures and any applicable individualized safety plan, and seek appropriate emergency/professional assistance.
The Service must not be relied upon as an emergency response system.
Professional Judgment
Recommendations are educational suggestions based on information selected by the user.
Behavior is contextual, and the Service cannot determine with certainty why a behavior is occurring.
Users remain responsible for professional judgment, supervision, compliance with workplace/school policies, and determining whether a strategy is appropriate in their circumstances.
Student Privacy and Acceptable Data
Users must not enter personally identifying student information into Positive Change Behavior Coach.
This includes student names, initials, dates of birth, student numbers, email addresses, school/classroom identifiers attached to a student, or other information that could reasonably identify a student.
Users are responsible for complying with their employer’s, school’s, school board’s/district’s, organization’s, and applicable legal/privacy requirements.
The Service is not intended to be an official student-record or medical-record system.
Accounts
- Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate security over their account.
- Accounts are intended for the individual authorized user unless a future plan explicitly permits organizational/shared access.
- Users may not attempt to access another user’s account or account-owned information.
- Users must provide truthful information where required for account/payment administration.
14-Day Pro Trial
New eligible accounts receive 14 days of Positive Change Behavior Coach Pro access.
No credit card is required to begin the 14-day trial.
The trial does NOT automatically convert into a paid subscription.
The user will NOT be charged merely because the 14-day trial expires.
After the trial expires, a user must affirmatively choose and purchase a subscription to continue using ordinary Coach recommendations and Pro creation features.
Learn remains available without a paid subscription, and essential safety access remains available.
Eligibility for the introductory trial is limited to one introductory trial per eligible account/user as determined by the Service.
Paid Subscriptions
Positive Change Behavior Coach Pro is currently offered at:
- US$7.99 per month
- US$69.99 per year
- Paid subscriptions provide Pro access during the applicable paid subscription period.
- Pro includes unlimited ordinary Coach recommendations and the currently advertised Pro features.
- Subscriptions are processed through Stripe.
- A subscription renews according to the billing interval selected unless canceled.
- Applicable taxes may be added where required.
Future pricing changes will not retroactively alter amounts already paid for a completed billing period and any applicable notice/consent requirements will be followed.
Cancellation
Users can manage/cancel a paid subscription through the customer billing portal available from their account/Profile.
When a subscription is canceled, cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
The user retains Pro access through that paid period.
The subscription will not renew after the effective cancellation date.
Cancellation does not delete existing account data.
Refunds
Except where required by applicable law, subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a paid billing period has begun. If you believe you were charged in error or have a billing issue, contact us so the matter can be reviewed. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights or refund rights provided by applicable law.

User-owned information remains the user’s information; these Terms do not transfer ownership of user-created content to Positive Change Behavior Coach merely because it is stored through the Service.
