We believe in keeping data simple and respectful. Here is exactly how Positive Change Behavior Coach handles information in plain language.
Adult Account Ownership
The Service is built for adult educators, not for students to create accounts. Your Saved Strategies and Detective observations belong entirely to your signed-in adult account.
Signing into the same account on a different device retrieves your account-owned information securely. If another adult signs in on the same device, they will only see their own information.
No Student Identifiers
The app uses automatically generated labels like "Student 1" instead of a student-name field. Users should never enter identifying student information, names, initials, or ID numbers.
We designed the system so that behavior guidance focuses on the context and the behavior, not the student's personal identity.
Sign Out and Data Retention
Signing out clears the browser-visible account state on your current device as currently implemented. This means the next person using the browser will not see your session.
However, server account data is not deleted merely by signing out. Your Saved Strategies and Detective records remain safely stored on our servers so they are waiting for you the next time you log in.
